    Leading Gainers: Information Technology and Health Care sector shares outperformed in late trade, chip stocks buoyed the former: Advanced Micro Devices +2.26%, Nvidia +2.24%, Applied Materials +2.06%. Equipment and services shares buoyed the Health Care sector with UniteHealth +5.33%, Cencora +2.15%, Elevance +1.74%.
  • Laggers: Utilities and Real Estate sector shares continued to underperform in late trade. Water and multi-energy providers weighed on Utilities with Dominion Energy -1.9%, DTE Energy -1.79%, American Water Works -1.75%.
