Libya Set Es Sider OSP Discount at -1.05$/bbl for February

Libya has set the Es Sider OSP for February at a discount of -1.05$/bbl to Dated Brent compared to -1.85$/bbl in January.

  • The Sharara OSP was set at a discount of -0.05$/bbl compared to -0.65$/bbl in January.
  • Libya crude production in January is estimated at 1.1mbpd according to Bloomberg data and 1.195mbpd according to Rystad data.
  • A reduction in output from Saudi Arabia and Libya led to a fall in OPEC’s crude oil output by 60kbpd to 29.12mbpd in January according to a Bloomberg survey. The updated OPEC monthly oil report is due for release on 14 Feb.
