Futures have twist flattened since Thursday’s settlement, with the benchmark contracts sticking to narrow ranges in post-Sydney trade. YM -1.5 & XM +1.0 at typing as a result, with the twist flattening on the U.S. Tsy curve driving the movement since yesterday’s bell.

  • In local news, Sydney Morning Herald sources have noted that “the NSW government is preparing to announce a major reversal of COVID-19 restrictions by shutting nightclubs, banning singing and dancing in pubs, and pausing major events and some elective surgery in response to the state’s surging Omicron caseload.”
