Lithuania Considers LNG Imports Following Pipeline Leak

Lithuanian LNG buyer Ignitis is considering additional LNG imports, depending on the duration of the outage at to the Balticconnector pipeline, according to Bloomberg.

  • A spokesperson said supply is not currently under stress due to the leak.
  • Deliveries would be into Klaipeda LNG, and are planned in advance, according to an Ignitis spokesperson.
