LNG: Asia’s LNG Prices Stable on Week: Reuters

LNG

Asia’s spot LNG prices were little changed this week amid muted market activity with trading on hold due to the Gastech industry conference in Houston, Reuters said,

  • Average Asian LNG spot prices for November were $13.10/MMBtu, compared to $13.20/Mmbtu the prior week.
  • Prices are expected to remain stable in the coming week as a supply recovery offsets seasonal cooling demand in North Asia.
  • "The supply situation in Asia still looks comfortable with the shoulder months (between a peak and off-peak season) and less temperature-related demand. Still, storages across Asia are relatively full, denting any re-stocking demand for the coming winter," said Klaas Dozeman, market analyst at Brainchild Commodity Intelligence, cited by Reuters.
