LNG
The Trader III LNG tanker positioned itself next to the Energos Nanook, the FSRU unit at Brazil’s Sergipe import terminal, Platts said.
- “The LNG cargo is in Sergipe to reload a cargo from the FSRU,” a source with knowledge of the situation told Platts Nov. 5.
- It is not clear whether the reloaded cargo will be delivered to another location in Brazil or abroad.
- The Trader III arrived in Sergipe from Spain Oct.24 and appeared to be unladed based on its draft.
- Platts said that the FSRU remains out of service as of Nov. 5, but the issue is expected to be resolved "before the end of the month."
- The terminal has received just one 70k mt cargo this year, delivered Sep. 27.
