  • The carrier is on a course for the facility after delivering fuel to the Saam floating storage unit in the Murmansk region.
  • The US imposed restrictions on seven LNG carriers linked to Russia including the Everest Energy for being part of Russia’s suspected dark fleet. The Saam unit was also sanctioned by the US last year.
  • Exports began last month, despite restrictions keeping foreign companies away and stopping the delivery of ice-ready carriers, with Russia using vessels that are hiding their location.
