Angola LNG released a sell tender for one cargo on a DES basis up to Southeast Asia with delivery windows from Oct. 7-24, according to traders familiar with the matter. The tender closes Sep. 13

  • Total won a contract to supply LNG to Bangladesh’s state-run Rupantarita Prakritik Gas Co. at $13.77/mmbtu, said Syed Mahbub Khan, additional secretary of Cabinet Division.
  • In a separate contract, Vitol will supply LNG to Bangladesh at $14.97/mmbtu, according to Bloomberg.
  • Tohoku Electric launched a buy tender which closed on Sep. 6 for one LNG cargo on a DES basis to Japan for H2 Sept.-H1 Oct. delivery, according to Bloomberg.
  • India’s Gujarat State Petroleum Corp. bought one cargo on a DES basis for Sept. 26-Oct. 31 delivery from a tender which closed on Sep. 4, Bloomberg sources said.
  • India’s Gail released a buy tender for one spot LNG cargo for Sept. 16-27 DES delivery to the Dahej terminal. The tender closed Sept. 4.
  • India’s Gujarat State Petroleum Corp. did not award its tender which closed Sep. 1 for one cargo for Sept. 26-30 delivery, according to market sources.
  • Thailand’s PTT did not award its tender which closed on Aug. 31, sources said. PTT was seeking up to four spot LNG cargoes on a DES basis for October and December delivery.
