Lockdown To Be Extended To 18 April: Spiegel

GERMAN PRESS

Der Spiegel reporting that Germany's COVID-19 lockdown measures are to be extended to 18 April following a surge in cases linked to the B1.1.7 variant linked to the English county of Kent.

  • On Sunday, infections were recorded at 103.7/100k, above the 100/100k limit at which the gov't says the country's health service could come under catastrophic strain.
