BOND SUMMARY
BOND SUMMARY: - Long end US Treasury yields have ticked higher with the 10-year
trading at 2.992% from 2.985%.
- Japan observes a national holiday today.
- German yields have drifted higher across the curve. The benchmark 2-year bund
trades at -0.541% up from a low of -0.552% and the 10-year is at 0.452% up from
0.439%.
- French OAT yields have similarly pushed higher, with the curve flat on the
day. The 2-year trades at -0.371% up from -0.3797% and the 10-year trades at
0.764% up from a low of 0.755%.
- Italian BTPs have rallied strongly this morning on the back of Economy and
Finance Minister Giovanni Tria indicating that the government will target a 1.6%
of GDP fiscal deficit. The 2-year BTP trades at 0.729% down from 0.809% with the
2s10s spread widening to 214.4bps from 207.7bps. 
- The gilt curve is marginally flatter with 2s10s trading at 105.0bps down from
105.6bps.
- Euro$ futures are flat to 0.5 ticks higher. Eurbibor futures are broadly flat.
