Macron Lead Narrows Marginally In Latest Opinionway Poll

President Emmanuel Macron's lead in the latest rollingOpinionway/Kea Partners opinion poll has narrowed marginally. He now leads right-winger Marine Le Pen by 8%, from a 10% gap in yesterday's release.

  • Opinionway-Kea Partners Second Round Poll: Macron: 54% (-1), Le Pen: 46% (+1). Fieldwork: 10-12 April, chgs w/10-11 April. 1,600 respondents.
  • In similar findings to other pollsters, Opinionway data shows voters who supported far-left candidate Jean-Luc Melenchon in the first round (22% of those who votes) are breaking more heavily for Macron than Le Pen. Today's poll finds that 43% of Melenchon-supporting respondents will vote for Macron, with just 28% switching to Le Pen. 29% stated that they would not vote.
