Macron’s Party to Reopen Power Contract Talks with EdF

France’s Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said Emmanuel Macron’s party wants to restart talks with EdF over the price of long-term contracts, if the party will remain in power, cited by Bloomberg.

  • “We want more reactors, more renewables and we will reopen the contract negotiations with EDF because the exit price is insufficient and not competitive enough for French industry,” Le Maire said.
