CABLE: Makes a break back under $1.2000, extends further the earlier break below
the Aug12 former YTD low of $1.2015, which had seen an initial low of $1.1994.
Cable drops to $1.1972 as EUR/GBP drives up to Gbp0.9133, with the topside of
the cross' 1.0% 10-dma envelope moving into view, by time now at Gbp0.9167.
Focus set on developments in the Brexit debate as UK parliament returns after
their summer recess today. PM Johnson comments last night seen as a veiled
threat to rebel Conservatives that he will call a snap general election, Oct14
being widely speculated. However, though Labour leader wants an election chances
are they will only support this call on their terms (Johnson would need a 2/3
majority in the House to allow a general election). Confusion reigns. Cable
trades around $1.1985 at posting.
