Marathon Galveston Bay, Texas Refinery Reports Pump Failure

Marathon Petroleum reported emissions from flaring at its 631k b/d Galveston Bay refinery in Texas Aug. 1, according to Reuters citing a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality filing.

  • The failure of the FCCU3 pump caused the 505E debutaniser to pressure the flares.
