US DATA: March final demand PPI data suggest inflation accelerated, 
rising by 0.3% overall, with gains of 0.3% for ex. food and energy and 
0.4% ex. food, energy, and trade services, all above expectations. 
- Energy prices -2.1% in the month, but food prices +2.2% on gains in 
fish, eggs, vegetables and meat. Trade services +0.2%. 
- Overall PPI now +3.0% y/y vs +2.8% in Feb, ex food and energy +2.7% 
y/y vs +2.5%, ex food, energy and trade services +2.9% y/y vs +2.7%.
- The personal consumption price measures, often used to preview 
CPI and PCE prices were more modest in the month, +0.1% overall and 
ex. food and energy, but +0.3% ex. food, energy, and trade services.
