Mexico Crude Exports Rebound in H1 May

Mexican crude exports rebounded in H1 May after the country’s second-largest refinery was ordered to reduce utilisation rates amid poor air quality in Mexico City , Bloomberg said.

  • Ships loaded 836k b/d in H1 May, up from 688k b/d H1 April.
  • This puts H1 May volumes up 21% compared to H1 April.
  • Volumes increased after environmental authorities ordered the Tula refinery to cut runs amid high ozone levels.
