ABC has declared Virginia's 10th District in favour of incumbent Democrat Rep Jennifer Wexton (D-VA) in one of three crucial Virginia House races which looked a chance of flipping to Republicans in the event of a "red wave" scenario.
- Garett Haake at NBC: "GOP had hoped a red wave *might* reach far enough to flip this seat. Dems will breathe a sigh of relief one of three big VA house battlegrounds goes their way, early."
- In Virginia's 2nd district, Incumbent Elaine Luria (D-VA), a key Democrat on the January 6 Committee, trails GOP state Senator Jennifer Kiggans but that race is expected to tighten as the vote continues.
- In Virginia's 7th district, incumbent Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) is trailing Yelsi Vega (R) with some Democrat leaning counties still to report.
- Spanberger and Luria need to hold on if Dems are to have any chance of retaining control of the House.
