The GOP continues to close in on the 218 House seats required for majority control of the House of Representatives.
- As of a few moments ago, Republicans control 210 seats with 32 races to be called.
- Democrats have very few pathways left for retaining control of the House.
- 7 tossup races, 10 lean-Republican races, and 17 lean-Democrat races are left to be called meaning Democrats will need to win all the tossups and Democrat-leaning races to have a chance at retaining the chamber - highly unlikely as tossup races in New York and Oregon are currently tilting Republican.
- White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has confirmed to the White House press pack that she expects President Biden to address the election results at some point today.
