Democrat incumbent Abigail Spanberger has held won re-election in Virginia's 7th district. That makes 2/3 holds for Democrats in Virginia's battleground house races.
- The first significant surprise of the night might be right-wing Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) who is currently trailing in Colorado's 3rd district. The race was not considered a battleground prior to today's vote.
- Reminder: The GOP needs to flip five seats to take control of the House.
- Flip tally: Three Republican flips projected so far - FL-13, FL-7, TN-5
- In the Senate, incumbent Maggie Hassan (D-NH) has been projected by ABC holding onto her New Hampshire Senate seat - saving considerable embarrassment for Democrats who funneled money into boosting Hassan's opponent Don Bolduc in his GOP primary against a more moderate Republican. Part of a controversial Democrat strategy to boost fringe Republican candidates they considered to extreme to be elected.
