*RES 3: 97.935 - High Mar 15
*RES 2: 97.901 - 100-DMA
*RES 1: 97.870 - Lows Mar 16 & 19 now resistance
*PRICE: 97.835 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 97.810 - Hourly support Mar 23
*SUP 2: 97.745 - Low Mar 21
*SUP 3: 97.705 - 2018 Low Jan 31
*SUP 4: 97.604 - 2015 Low Dec 15 2015
*COMMENTARY: Volatile trading continues with the contract recovering from 2mth
lows and flirting with the 55-DMA (97.837). Bulls still need a close above
97.870 to ease bearish pressure and above the 100-DMA to return focus to
97.935-993 where key WMAs, the 200-DMA and daily bear channel top are noted.
Bears continue to focus on 2018 lows while the 97.870 caps and need a close
below 97.810 to add weight to their case.
AUSSIE 10-YR TECHS: (M18) Bears Need Close Below 97.2750
*RES 4: 97.5000 - High Dec 8
*RES 3: 97.4691 - 100-WMA
*RES 2: 97.3850 - 2018 High Jan 8
*RES 1: 97.3550 - High Mar 23
*PRICE: 97.3150 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 97.2750 - Alternating hourly support/resistance
*SUP 2: 97.1993 - 55-DMA
*SUP 3: 97.1750 - Hourly resistance Feb 23 now support
*SUP 4: 97.1747 - Bollinger band base
*COMMENTARY: The bounce from the 55-DMA last week saw the contract flirting with
the Bollinger top (97.3415) only to remain capped around 97.3550-3850. Bulls now
need a close above 98.3850 to shift focus to 97.5000-5399 where the 100-WMA is
noted. Bears now need a close below 97.2750 to ease bullish pressure and below
97.1750 to confirm traction below the 55-DMA and target 2018 lows.
US 10-YR FUTURE TECHS: (M18) Bears Need Close Below 120-11
*RES 4: 122-09+ 100-DMA
*RES 3: 122-02 Monthly High Feb 6
*RES 2: 121-01+ High Feb 7
*RES 1: 120-27+ 55-DMA
*PRICE: 120-12+ @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 120-11 Low Mar 26
*SUP 2: 120-03 Low Mar 22
*SUP 3: 119-21+ Repeated Daily lows Feb
*SUP 4: 119-14 Monthly Low Feb 15
*COMMENTARY: The lack of follow through and bounce from 119-14/21+ has resulted
in a break of the 120-23 resistance that repeatedly capped, with immediate focus
now on 120-27+/121-01+ where the 55-DMA is noted. Bulls need a close above
121-01+ to end bearish hopes and shift focus to 122-02/19+ where Feb highs, the
100-DMA and 100-WMA are found. Bears need a close below 120-11 to gain breathing
room.
US 10-YR YIELD TECHS: Support Emerging Ahead Of 55-DMA
*RES 4: 2.957 - 2018 High Feb 21
*RES 3: 2.936 - High Feb 21
*RES 2: 2.889 - High Mar 22
*RES 1: 2.859 - 21-DMA
*PRICE: 2.828 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 2.815 - Low Mar 26
*SUP 2: 2.786 - Low Feb 9
*SUP 3: 2.775 - 55-DMA
*SUP 4: 2.758 - Low Feb 7
*COMMENTARY: Bulls take comfort in support emerging ahead of the 2.758-786
support region where the 55-DMA is located with pressure now on the 21-DMA.
Bulls now look for a close above the 21-DMA to gain breathing room and above
2.889 to shift focus back to 2.936-957. Bears continue to look for a close below
2.758 to end bullish hopes and initially target 2.585-648.
JGB TECHS: (M18) Immediate Focus On 151.13-19
*RES 4: 151.19 - Monthly High Nov 22
*RES 3: 151.15 - 2018 High Mar 2
*RES 2: 151.13 - Bollinger band top
*RES 1: 151.06 - High Mar 12
*PRICE: 150.93 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 150.82 - Low Mar 22
*SUP 2: 150.73 - High Mar 14 now support, Bull channel base
*SUP 3: 150.72 - Bollinger band base
*SUP 4: 150.62 - 200-DMA
*COMMENTARY: The recovery from 200-DMA tests that defined last week is now in a
little trouble with the failure around 151.06 leaving it looking a little heavy.
Bears now need a close below 150.82 to shift focus back to layers of support
150.55-73 where 55, 100 & 200-DMAs are located. Bulls now need a close above
151.06 to reconfirm initial focus on 151.13-19 where the Bollinger top, 2018
high and Nov monthly high are located.
