Italy's current debt levels are sustainable, Bank of Italy Governor Ignazio Visco said Friday, noting that the issue to consider is the burden of the debt.

Italy's Treasury is issuing bonds at a lower cost than last year, Visco said in a TV news interview, which is a main factor, adding he was confident over Italy's fiscal outlook.
