MNI BRIEF: BOJ Maintains JGB Buying Scale in December

(MNI) Tokyo

The Bank of Japan said on Tuesday that December's purchases of Japanese government bonds will maintain the frequency and the scale seen in November amid ongoing concern over higher bond yields.

The BOJ also said it will continue to buy the cheapest JGBs at a fixed-rate of 0.25% for the time being, and also eased the conditions of the Securities Lending Facility for the cheapest-to-deliver issues.
