MNI BRIEF: BOJ Masaki Appointed Executive Director

MNI (TOKYO) - The Bank of Japan said on Monday that Kazuhiro Masaki, director-general of the BOJ Monetary Affairs Department, had been promoted to the Osaka branch manager and one of six executive directors.

Masaki replaced Kazushige Kamiyama, who is now the executive director in charge of the Financial System and Bank Examination Department and Payment and Settlement Systems Department.
