MNI BRIEF: China December PMI Edges Down To 50.1

China has published its latest PMI results.

China's Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index fell by 0.2 points to 50.1 in December, though staying above the 50 mark for the third month, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed Tuesday.

The production sub-index fell by 0.3 points to 52.1, while the new orders sub-index rose by 0.2 points to 51.0.
