MNI BRIEF: China Seeks Foreign Capital in Panda Bonds, Futures

MNI (Singapore)

China will facilitate panda bond sales in China by foreign institutions and formulate rules on trading on the domestic markets, said Fang Xinghai, vice chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission at a forum on Saturday.

Regulators will also expand opening up of domestic commodities and financial futures, and introduce more products geared for international trading, Fang said during the China International Finance Annual Forum 2021.
