As many firms in both services and manufacturing across the UK continue to highlight supply chain blockages, the latest ONS real time indicators shows 298 inbound container ships docked in the week to August 22, down 3% on the previous week.
The ONS has only just reintroduced this series after a methodological change and a series break between late June and early August, saying direct comparison of data should not be used for comparisons on either side of the series break.
