The Federal Reserve’s aggressive 75 basis point rate hike today is a rare event but it could happen again at the Fed’s next meeting, Chair Jerome Powell said.

“I do not expect moves of this size to be common. Either a 50 basis point or a 75 basis point increase seems likely” at the next meeting, he said.
