Switzerland's economy showed signs of a second quarter recovery as pandemic lockdown measures eased, leading to significant increases in turnover in the services, manufacturing and construction sectors, with further improvements in both turnover and staff hiring expected. However, procurement difficulties, price increases, structural changes and the emergence of new Covid variants mean additional uncertainty, the latest Swiss National Bank survey of regional business signals reported.
