MNI Chicago Survey™ Finds Supply Chain Pressure Easing Further

Supplier Deliveries gained 3.6 points in the February Chicago Survey™.

  • Logistics issues persisted and deliveries took largely the same time as the month prior, yet small further improvements were made.
  • In aggregate, over 90% of respondents were seeing easing up in supply chains in February (31.3% answering yes, 59.4% somewhat).
  • Only 6.3% were not seeing improvements, whilst the minority (3.1%) had not been affected.
  • This was a substantial improvement from September, where a smaller 62% of respondents were (at least somewhat) registering improvements.
  • Firms continued to flag poor communication from suppliers alongside labor shortages in logistics hampering their production.
