MNI China Press Digest, March 3: Infrastructure, Coronavirus

     BEIJING (MNI) - The following lists highlights from Chinese press reports
on Tuesday:
     China's 15 provinces have released investment plans valued at over CNY24
trillion, the National Business Daily reported on Tuesday. Of this investment,
CNY6 trillion will be completed in 2020. In addition to traditional
infrastructure such as transportation and energy projects, local authorities are
investing in medical and health care infrastructure, the report said.
     China reported 125 cases of coronavirus on Monday and 11 of them are
outside the epicentre of Hubei province, according to the National Health
Commission. Seven cases are reported in Zhejiang and the provincial authority
there said these cases originated in Italy. China had reported 80,151 cases of
coronavirus by Monday March 2.
