- Previous (May): 2.1% m/m, 4.0% y/y - Markets look for French industrial
production to have ended Q2 on a weak note, following the 2.1% monthly surge in
May... 
- ... with weaker manufacturing output (Bbg consensus: -1.3% m/m) expected to
drive the decline 
- The 1.2% m/m drop expected for IP in Jun would still leave production up by
0.7% q/q in Q2 
- Going forward, the outlook is less positive 
- The French Manufacturing PMI fell to 49.7 in Jul from 51.9 the previous month,
pointing to the first contraction since Mar 
- Insee's Jul bus conf survey, meanwhile, showed manufacturing sentiment
slipping for a second consecutive month... 
- ... while the equivalent BoF index remained at Jun's six-year low
