     LONDON (MNI) - Monday is the last day of the month and throws up a busy
data calendar on both sides of the Atlantic.
     The European data gets underway at 0600GMT, with the publication of the
German ILO employment data and the German retail sales numbers.
     In the UK, at 0830GMT, the Bank of England will publish the BOE Lending to
Individuals data and the M4 numbers.
     There is a raft of European data at 0900GMT, with the publication of the
Italian flash July inflation data and, more importantly, the EMU flash July
inflation data. The June unemployment data will be published at the same time.
     Across the Atlantic, the Canadian Industrial Production data will be
released.
     There is a round of US survey data expected, beginning with the Milwaukee
Manufacturing ISM index at 1300GMT.
     At 1345GMT, the MNI Chicago PMI will be published.
     The MNI Chicago PMI is expected to fall to a reading of 61.0 in July after
surging to 65.7 in June. Other regional data already released suggest slower,
but still solidly positive growth.
     The NAR pending home sales data will be released at 1400GMT, followed by
the Dallas Fed manufacturing survey at 1430GMT.
     Late US data sees the US farm prices data set for publication at 1900GMT.
