- Vice President Kamala Harris made the most significant economic pitch of her campaign yesterday, outlining a manufacturing-focused policy platform and seeking to rebut accusations of her ‘socialist’ proclivities.
- The Harris campaign published an 82-page ‘policy book’ entitled, “A New Way Forward for the Middle Class," and a fact sheet putting a USD$100 billion price tag on Harris’ manufacturing plan.
- Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen will give a major speech today on threats to the US financial system.
- Congress passed a three-month Continuing Resolution to fund federal agencies through the general election.
