MNI US EARNINGS SCHEDULE - Healthcare Takes Focus After Mixed Start

Q3 earnings started solidly, with the majority of larger bank names beating expectations on both EPS and revenue metrics. Headline profits and consumer spending proxies were firm, nonetheless, there were some signs of underlying weakness among trading arms, with FICC-desk results more mixed. This week's reports include tech heavyweights Intel and IBM, mobile networks Verizon and AT&T, while Netflix and CocaCola could shed some light on the strength of the consumer.
