US 5-YR FUTURE TEHCS: (Z17) Pressuring Key Support
*RES 4: 117-180 - Hourly support Oct 13 now resistance
*RES 3: 117-170 - 21-DMA
*RES 2: 117-155 - Hourly resistance Oct 16
*RES 1: 117-127 - Hourly resistance Oct 17
*PRICE: 117-110 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 117-090 - Low Oct 9
*SUP 2: 117-057 - Bollinger band base
*SUP 3: 117-035 - Low July 7
*SUP 4: 116-045 - Daily Bear TL
*COMMENTARY: The failure ahead of 117-212 resistance has seen the contract
correct lower with pressure back on the key 117-090 support. Bears continue to
look for a close below 117-090 to end talk of a correction higher and see
immediate focus back to 117-035 and overall focus on the daily bear TL around
116-270. Initial resistance is noted at 117-127 with bulls needing a close above
to gain breathing room and above117-212 to shift focus to 117-287/118-010.
US 10-YR FUTURE TECHS: (Z17) Bears Need Close Below 125-100
*RES 4: 126-030 - 55-DMA
*RES 3: 125-300 - 100-DMA
*RES 2: 125-255 - High Oct 13
*RES 1: 125-165 - Hourly support Oct 16 now resistance
*PRICE: 125-130 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 125-100 - Low Oct 13
*SUP 2: 125-050 - Hourly support Oct 11
*SUP 3: 124-310 - Hourly support Oct 9
*SUP 4: 124-287 - Bollinger band base
*COMMENTARY: The close above the 21-DMA (125-150) Friday shifted bullish focus
to the 125-290/090 region where 55 & 100-DMAs are situated after correcting O/S
studies provided support last week. The sell-off Monday was less than ideal and
saw bears gain breathing room, but a close below 125-100 remains needed to shift
focus back to Oct lows so far at 124-220. Bulls now look for a close above
125-165 to ease pressure on 125-100.
US 30-YR FUTURE TECHS: (Z17) 152-30 & 55-DMA Levels Key
*RES 4: 156-07 - Low Sept 6 now resistance
*RES 3: 155-04 - High Sept 25
*RES 2: 154-07 - 55-DMA
*RES 1: 154-05 - High Oct 13
*PRICE: 153-24 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 153-18 - Low Oct 16
*SUP 2: 153-08 - 21-DMA
*SUP 3: 152-30 - Low Oct 13
*SUP 4: 152-09 - Hourly support Oct 11
*COMMENTARY: Gains last week resulted in closes above 21 & 100-DMAs Friday and
the contract pressuring the 55-DMA although follow through has been lacking.
Bulls need a close above the 55-DMA to confirm focus on 155-04/155-18. Bears now
look for a close below the 21-DMA to ease bullish pressure and below 152-30 to
confirm a break of the 21-DMA and target retests of Oct lows.
US EURODOLLAR TECHS: (Z17) Focus Returns To 98.470
*RES 4: 98.525 - Repeated daily highs Sept
*RES 3: 98.516 - 200-DMA
*RES 2: 98.510 - High Oct 13
*RES 1: 98.502 - 21-DMA
*PRICE: 98.490 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 98.485 - Lows Oct 12 & 13
*SUP 2: 98.470 - Low Apr 24
*SUP 3: 98.445 - Low Apr 10
*SUP 4: 98.425 - Low Mar 31
*COMMENTARY: Gains Friday have been eroded with the pair breaking back below
98.495 and looking a little heavy once again. Focus has returned to the 98.470
support with bears needing a close below to initially target 98.425-445. The
98.510-525 resistance becomes key once more with bulls needing a close above
98.525 to shift immediate focus to 55 (98.543) and 100 (98.549) DMAs.
