US 5-YR FUTURE TECHS: (H18) 116-04/06+ Resistance Region Key
*RES 4: 116-08+ 21-DMA
*RES 3: 116-06+ Low Dec 18 now resistance
*RES 2: 116-04 High Dec 20
*RES 1: 115-31 High Dec 26
*PRICE: 115-29+ @ 1030GMT
*SUP 1: 115-28+ Hourly resistance Dec 26 now support
*SUP 2: 115-27 Low Dec 26
*SUP 3: 115-25+ Weekly Bollinger band base
*SUP 4: 115-12+ Weekly Bear channel base
*COMMENTARY: Fresh 7yr lows Tuesday have so far lacked a little follow through
with immediate bearish focus on the weekly bear channel base coming in around
115-12+ today. Initial resistance is now noted at 115-31. Bulls look for a close
above this level to ease bearish pressure and target a correction back to the
116-04/06+ resistance region. Bulls need a close above this region to shift
focus to 116-13+/22+ where the bear channel top and 55-DMA are noted.
US 10-YR FUTURE TECHS: (H18) Bulls Need Close Above 123-29+
*RES 4: 124-05 Hourly support Dec 13 now resistance
*RES 3: 123-29+ Low Dec 13 now resistance
*RES 2: 123-27 Lows Oct 25 & 27 now resistance
*RES 1: 123-21+ High Dec 27
*PRICE: 123-18 @ 1030GMT
*SUP 1: 123-12+ Low Dec 21
*SUP 2: 123-07+ High Mar 13 now support
*SUP 3: 123-01+ Daily Bear channel base
*SUP 4: 122-20+ Monthly Low Mar 14
*COMMENTARY: Repeated topside failures ahead of the key 124-15+/23+ resistance
region where the bear channel top and 55-DMA are located resulted in a break of
key supports and bears focused on 122-20+/123-07+ where monthly lows and the
bear channel base are noted. The Bollinger base (123-10+) is a concern for bears
with potential to limit follow through. Bulls still need a close above 123-29+
to ease bearish pressure.
US 30-YR FUTURE TECHS: (H18) Above 55-DMA To Shift Focus Higher
*RES 4: 153-22 Low Dec 15 now resistance
*RES 3: 153-02 Low Dec 18 now resistance
*RES 2: 152-08 55-DMA
*RES 1: 151-28 High Dec 20
*PRICE: 151-18 @ 1030GMT
*SUP 1: 151-08 Highs Dec 21 & 22 now support
*SUP 2: 150-17 Bollinger band base
*SUP 3: 150-14 Lows Dec 21 & 22
*SUP 4: 149-07 Monthly Low Oct 27
*COMMENTARY: Correcting O/S daily studies appear to be impacting with the break
of 151-08 increasing the risk of a test of the 55-DMA> Bulls look for a close
above the 55-DMA DMA to shift focus back to 153-02/154-18. Bears now need a
close below 151-08 to ease pressure on the 55-DMA and below 150-14 to add weight
to the case for a move targeting the bear channel base around 148-03.
US EURODOLLAR TECHS: (H18) 21-DMA Resistance Key
*RES 4: 98.258 Daily Bear channel top
*RES 3: 98.255 High Dec 6
*RES 2: 98.235 21-DMA
*RES 1: 98.230 Highs Dec 21 & 22
*PRICE: 98.210 @ 1030GMT
*SUP 1: 98.200 Monthly Low Mar 15
*SUP 2: 98.190 Bollinger band base
*SUP 3: 98.186 Daily Bear channel base
*SUP 4: 98.147 Weekly Bollinger band base
*COMMENTARY: Immediate bearish focus remains on the 98.186-200 region where Mar
lows and the daily bear channel base are situated. Daily and weekly Bollinger
bases remain key concerns for bears with potential to limit follow through,
Layers of resistance remain with bulls needing a close above the 21-DMA to ease
bearish pressure and above the 55-DMA (98.292) to shift focus higher.
