Modestly Richer

JGBS

A bid in core global FI markets and the presence of BoJ Rinban operations across much of the curve (1- to 25-Year JGBs) have created a marginal richening bias for JGBs during the Tokyo morning, with futures last +6, sticking to a tight range. Cash JGBs are flat to 1.5bp richer, with 7s outperforming alongside the uptick in futures. Swap rates are incrementally lower but have generally lagged the moves in JGBs.
