More CB hikes expected today

  • Bund saw an above average overnight session and the contract has opened with a downside opening gap (141.45 to 141.16).
  • Yesterday the contract swung 100 ticks on the hawkish Fed (140.73/141.73), but the 2013 peak in Yield still held.
  • Support remains at 140.31, and resistance will be seen at the opening gap up to 141.45 initially.
  • There's no real notable data, with most of the focus tomorrow, when prelim services PMIs will be released.
  • ECB Publishes Economic Bulletin, EU Consumer Confidence, and US Leading index are due today.
  • All the attention will be on CBs, with more hikes expected, from the BoE, SNB, and Norges bank.
