MEXICAN PESO
MEXICAN PESO: MXN had a particularly strong Fed-inspired session Wednesday and
not just against the USD, but against all other LatAm FX. Intraday, USD/MXN
touched 18.7480, the lowest rate since mid-October. That level is yet to be
tested so far Thursday, with the session so far being particularly tame.
The much-watched RSI for USD/MXN is in very close proximity to 'oversold'
territory (RSI < 30), sitting at 31.7 at present. Option expiries rolling off at
the cut today could also limit any further falls in the near-term, with $815mln
due to expire at 19.30-31 at today's NY cut.
