NATGAS: Gazprom Gas to China Already 1bcm Above 2024 Contract Obligations

Gazprom’s Deputy CEO Vitaly Markelov said gas supply to China is already 1bcm above contractual obligations so far this year, according to RIA news agency cited by Reuters. 

  • Power of Siberia 1 pipeline volumes to China are set to reach full annual capacity of 38bcm by 2025 and could rise above the contracted volume to 46bcm/year, according to Deputy PM Alexander Novak in an in-house publication of the Energy Ministry cited by Bloomberg last week.
