NATGAS: Henry Hub Highest Since Aug. 22

Henry Hub is extending its gains today to the highest since Aug. 22. A return to normal natural gas export levels and lower production on the day is likely to be supportive.

  • US Natgas OCT 24 up 2.9% at 2.19$/mmbtu
  • US Natgas MAR 25 up 0.9% at 2.92$/mmbtu
  • US LNG export terminal feedgas flows are estimated at 13.09bcf/d today, according to Bloomberg, slightly down from 13.11 bcf/d.
  • Domestic natural gas demand has dropped further to 71.36bcf/d but remains above seasonal normal, according to Bloomberg.
  • The NOAA 6-10 temperature forecast has remained stable with below normal levels in the Midwest and East Coat, and above normal in the Mountain and Pacific regions.
  • US domestic natural gas production is down today to 100.92 bcf/d, compared to 103.5bcf/d yesterday and an average of 102.4bcf/d in August, according to Bloomberg.
  • Export flows to Mexico are down today at 6.61bcf/d, according to Bloomberg, the lowest since Aug. 25.
