NBP Reports Core CPI For March

POLAND
  • Rzeczpospolita reports that the Cabinet reshuffle expected after the upcoming European election may be wider than signalled initially. Poland 2050 officials told PAP news wire that they will not agree to the dismissal of Climate and Environment Paulina Hennig-Kloska, whose name has been mentioned in this context. One of the party's MPs also dismissed reports suggesting that Poland 2050 wanted the Left to give up one ministry after a poor showing in local elections.
  • The National Bank of Poland (NBP) will release core CPI data for March at 13:00BST/14:00CEST. The consensus forecast is +4.6% Y/Y, with little potential for any major deviation, given that analysts derive their estimates from final CPI data.
