Monday 10 March:
- China-US: Following US President Donald Trump’s imposition of a blanket 20% tariff on Chinese goods imports, Beijing’s own retaliatory measures come into force. As part of these measures tariffs on US agricultural products, products including chicken, wheat and corn will be hit by a 15% levy, while soybeans, pork, beef and fruits, among others, will be subject to a 10% tariff. China has confirmed that goods shipped before 10 March and arriving in China by 12 April will not be subject to the tariffs.
