NCID Says Gauteng 4th Wave Has Peaked; Zuma in Court

  • NCID says Gauteng has reached the peak of its fourth wave, with daily cases starting to decline. Deaths have, however, ticked up with 105 registered yesterday against 8,515 new cases across SA.
    • KZN is the most affected (29%) followed by Gauteng (22%), Western cape (19%), Eastern cape (8%)
  • Zuma set to appear in court today to appeal the High Court order that he must return to prison after his medical parole grated in September was unlawful. Most legal experts expect the matter to be postponed and drawn out
