CABLE: News that PM May had lost a key Brexit vote in parliament late Wednesday
briefly pressured cable through $1.3400 in early Asia. Rate was quick to pare
losses before spiking to $1.3449 on Eur/Gbp sales. Light offers are reported to
build ahead of $1.3450, opening $1.3470 (76.4% $1.3521-1.3303). Cable last
$1.3428. The UK comes into focus from 0930GMT, when the latest retail sales data
will be published. The Bank of England policy decision will be announced at
1200GMT, when the rate and QE outcomes will be released.
