US: No clear winner from the 10th Democratic primary debate held in Charleston,
SC. last night.
- Betting markets have shifted marginally, with former VP Joe Biden seen as
having put in a relatively good performance ahead of a key primary election on
Sat. for him. Up to an 11% implied probability of winning the nomination
according to Betdata.io.
- Left-wing Senator Bernie Sanders still the favourite, although his probability
of winning fell from 49% before the debate to 44% following the contest (back to
48% now). Was the most frequently attacked in the debate as the frontrunner.
- Former NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg was again on the defensive due to his wealth
and perceptions he is trying to 'buy' the nomination. No major change to his
betting probabilities, remains in 2nd place with an implied 21% probability of
winning. 
- No more debates before South Carolina primary on 29 Feb or Super Tuesday on 3
March.
