DOLLAR-YEN: North Asian sellers pressured in early Asia, Usd/Jpy touched 4-mth
lows of Y110.19 before the reported strong demand ahead of Y110.00 cushioned
falls. As the dollar reversal continued, rate extended its recovery to Y110.93
before fading. Initial resistance is seen at Y110.98 (Jan16 high), stops placed
behind on a break of Y111.20. Last Y110.82.
* Quiet on the US calendar today with main highlights from Industrial Production
& Capacity Utilization at 1415GMT. Industrial production is expected to rise by
0.5% in December after a 0.2% gain in the previous month.
* At 2000GMT Chicago Federal Reserve Bank President Charles Evans is to
participate in a moderated discussion at the "American Council of Life Insurers
Executive Roundtable" in Palm Beach, Florida, with audience and media Q&A.
* Dallas Federal Reserve Bank President Rob Kaplan to participate in a moderated
Q&A session at 2015GMT. Rounding off the day at 2130GMT is an appearance from
Cleveland Federal Reserve Bank President Loretta Mester 
* Option expiries at *USD/JPY: Y110.50($206mn), Y111.00($531mn),
Y111.45-50($700mn), Y111.60($300mn), Y113.50($1.7bn).
