Northwest Europe LNG Imports Expected to be Subdued in August

Import levels of LNG into Northwest Europe are expected to remain tepid in August compared to July, according to Bloomberg.

  • 52 LNG cargoes carrying are expected to be delivered to Europe in August. Of the total, 23 cargoes have already arrived carrying 3,885.263. cu m, with a further 19 cargoes scheduled.
  • In July there were 53 cargoes carrying 8.66m cu m.
  • LNG send out into Northwest Europe is subsequently at its lowest level since late July, last measured Aug. 11 at 141 mcm/d.
