Norway Gas: Capacity Outages to Rise to 101.7mcm/d on April 27

Norwegian pipeline supplies to Europe are today nominated at 339.2mcm/d after seeing a recovery up to nearly 445mcm/d on April 20. Supplies are expected to be curtailed later this week with planned maintenance outages expected to increase to a peak in the last few days of the month according to Gassco data.

  • Unavailable capacity is currently scheduled to rise to 101.7mcm/d and to peak at 171.91mcm/d on 21 May.
  • The Dvalin field will have 9mcm/d of unavailable capacity from 23 April until 2 May. Additional works are scheduled to take place in the first half of May.
  • The Karsto processing facility will reduce capacity by 12.1mcm on 23-25 April, 26-28 April and on 30 April until 3 May.
  • The Aasta Hansteen field will have a reduced capacity of 24.4mcm/d for works on 24 April until 1 May.
  • The Nyhamna processing facility will have a reduced capacity of 35.8mcm/d from 24 April until 1 May.
  • The Ormen Lange field will reduce output by 12mcm/d on 25-26 April.
  • The Oseberg field will cut production by 26.5mcm/d on 25-26 April.
  • The Troll field will undergo maintenance on 27 April until 2 May, reducing capacity by 43mcm/d.
  • The Kollsnes processing facility will reduce capacity by 42mcm/d from 27 April until 10 May.
