Norwegian Annual Gas Maintenance Comes To An End This Week

Several Norwegian natural gas processing plants and fields will return from yearly maintenance this week, Gassco remit data showed.

  • The 79.8mcm/d Nyhamna processing plant is still scheduled to return on 15 July after an unplanned outage delayed its return from annual maintenance.
  • The maintenance at the Troll field has again been extended by three days until 13 July with 21.5mcm/d of unavailable capacity.
  • Maintenance at the Ormen Lange field is scheduled to end 15 July, affecting 24.2mcm/d. The field has another unavailability of 6.8mcm/d planned for 15-16 July.
  • The 25.8mcm/d Aasta Hansteen field will return on 15 July from annual maintenance.
  • In Germany, the Brunsbuttel LNG terminal will halt some operations for one day on Tuesday to repair equipment that was damaged by a recent storm.
